Graduate students may be eligible to transfer credit for coursework completed at other accredited institutions, provided that:

Transfer credits are not included in the student’s Glenmore GPA.
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA):
Graduate students may also request credit for verifiable college-level learning acquired through nontraditional means, including:
PLA credit is awarded through one or more of the following methods:
Students seeking PLA credit must complete an application through the Registrar’s Office and submit all required documentation before the midpoint of their first term of enrollment. PLA credit is noted on the transcript but does not affect GPA.
The maximum allowable PLA credit:
PLA credit may not be awarded for general life experience, unstructured learning, or non-verifiable activities.
Appeals Process:
Students may appeal transfer credit or PLA decisions by submitting a written appeal to the Registrar’s Office within 15 business days of the notification. Appeals are reviewed by the Transfer Credit Appeals Committee, and a written decision is issued within 30 business days.
All appeal decisions are final.
